What Hunger Looks Like in New Hampshire

We have been tracking data on hunger in New Hampshire and we think many Granite Staters will be surprised by what the data tell us. The dashboards on this page show significant numbers of households reporting they do not have sufficienct food. At the same time, New Hampshire is only enrolling about 50% of people eligible for SNAP statewide, with wide variations by county. With the price of consumer goods inflated and crunching household budgets, we need to make sure that all our neighbors have the nutrition they need to be healthy and well.

As you explore the data dashboards, you can hover your cursor over the charts to reveal more information. On the lower right of each dashboard is a menu bar with options for sharing or downloading the data or dashboard.
